In the heart of the capital
This was the most important restoration project carried out in the heart of Paris in recent years. The building lies right in the center of the city, near the Opera House.
Currently used as a base for Facebook, it can accommodate up to 2,500 people. The design is structured around a central atrium: the entrance is located inside the "hotel" on Rue Ménars, whose facade is a historical monument.
The building face is composed of various types of facade, both single-skin and double-skin, along with point-fixed openings. Notably, the corner of the building features a double-skin facade with curved glass. 3D thermal analyses were performed to ensure that condensation did not form at different times of the day and year. Architectural extrusions made from aluminum frame the glass modules and give the building's main frontage its distinctive look.
A glass roof protects the atrium, guaranteeing an appropriate level of comfort.
